Our Story
YumMinute started with a simple frustration: most recipe sites assume you have 90 minutes, a pantry full of specialty ingredients, and culinary-school training. Real life doesn’t work that way. We’re built for people who want to eat well on a busy weeknight — fast recipes, real ingredients, and instructions that actually work the first time.
If a recipe says 20 minutes, we mean 20 minutes. If it says five ingredients, we mean five. No filler, no fluff, no 1,500-word life story before the recipe.
How We Make Our Recipes
We’ll be straight with you: YumMinute uses modern tools — including AI — to research, develop, and write our recipes. We think that’s nothing to hide. What matters isn’t how a recipe is drafted, but whether it’s accurate, useful, and actually works in your kitchen.
So before anything goes live, every recipe is checked for consistency: cooking temperatures, timings, and ingredient ratios are verified against trusted culinary sources and food-safety standards. When we say 165°F or 40 minutes, you can count on it. We’d rather publish fewer recipes that are right than flood the site with ones that aren’t.
We don’t pretend to be a single celebrity chef, and we don’t invent fake reviews. YumMinute is a small editorial project with one focus: getting you a recipe that works, fast.
What We Believe
Speed Without Compromise
Fast food and good food aren’t opposites. Most of our recipes are on the table in 30 minutes — and they’re built to actually taste good, not just to be quick.
Real Ingredients
No processed shortcuts where they don’t belong. If a recipe calls for garlic, it means real garlic. Every ingredient is something you can find at a regular grocery store.
Budget-Friendly
Great food doesn’t have to be expensive. Many of our recipes cost under $3 per serving. Good cooking should be accessible to everyone.
Honest Information
We include calorie estimates, prep times, and food-safe temperatures accurately — not to restrict you, but so you know exactly what you’re making and that it’s safe.
Our Recipe Standards
Every recipe on YumMinute passes this checklist before publication:
- Cooking temperatures and times verified against trusted culinary sources
- Ingredient quantities checked for realistic, working proportions
- Food-safety temperatures included wherever relevant
- Written so a beginner cook can follow it successfully
- Checked for the promise in the title — if it says “crispy,” the method actually delivers crispy
Have a Question?
We read every message. If a recipe doesn’t work the way you expected, tell us — that feedback is exactly how we make the site better.
